TERENCE LEWIS ALL SET TO BREAK THE GUINNESS RECORD IN BOLLYWOOD DANCING
The upcoming attempt at breaking the existing Guinness World Record is a challenge that ace choreographer and dancer Terence Lewis is confident about! This ground breaking feat is open to anyone as they can join Mumbai-based Terence Lewis this Saturday, 19th March 2011, as he attempts to break the current record for the largest Bollywood class choreographed on a Bollywood song, in a short duration. To witness and support Terence in this historic moment Preity Zinta would be present.
Terence Lewis excitedly states, “When I was approached by Guinness and asked if I would be interested in breaking the current record, I was truely honoured. I have over 5000 students from all batches in Mumbai, past and present who are, if anything, even more excited and confident than me. We are looking forward to put India in the Guinness Book of World Records, especially in Bollywood Dancing which is a rage world over!”
Known for his contemporary and neo-classic dance forms, Lewis has choreographed numerous dances for Bollywood films, music videos and national and international dance competitions. Terence’s challenge is to break the recently set-up Guinness record of choreographing 1200 people on a Bollywood song. With a simple registration procedure which is FREE OF COST, dance enthusiasts can get a quick 1 hour lesson on how to rock Bollywood. Since the record is about timing as much as it is about the dance, participants will be required to get into their groove within an hour and avoid getting disqualified by not dancing.
